A New Story is Born

I'm thirty-something pages into my brand new non-Rowaness related story. I feel shy of sharing too much about it right now, like it's a delicate bird that hasn't taken flight. But I love the promise of this story, of everything it can be. I feel overwhelmed to be it's "mother" and hope I can do it justice.

Here are some visual hints and inspiration for the story so far...

    1. Tee hee. I love your "ktnxbai." Of course I'll let you read it!...after I finish it, edit it, perfect it to death, only to have you tear it down for me again. Can't wait! ;-)

  2. You do know I am going to drag it out of you what it is about the next time I see you, right? Right. Glad that is settled. :)

    2. I waited until Curse was really underway before I started talking about it online. :)

    1. Thanks, Fiona! I love discovering visuals for inspiration (very hard to find just the right ones, but I've just discovered Pinterest). They make me feel like I have something to live up to as I write. Also, I stumbled upon a super cool tunnel picture the other day, and it inspired a great new scene I wouldn't have written otherwise. So it's not a total waste of time to daydream and surf for novel inspiration online. :-)
