Fangirl Frenzy: Shadow and Bone

It's no secret my favorite book is SHADOW AND BONE by Leigh Bardugo, so when the paperback was released a while back, I double-back-flipped over a little homage to the fans--an awesome "word drawing" of some of the blogs who reviewed the book. And Purdie Writing was on there! Check it out...

Coolest fangirl moment of the universe!

So...if you haven't read SHADOW AND BONE, do it! (Here's my spoiler-free review.) The sequel, SIEGE AND STORM, is also awesomesauce. And Leigh Bardugo is one ultra cool and gracious lady.

If you want the latest on all things S&B, check out and like its official Facebook Fan Page.

What is your biggest fangirl (or fanboy) moment?

  1. I don't know that this counts, but last night I found out something cool. "Castle" is my grandfather's brother's name and so I have a cousin and nephew named Castle after him, etc. I just learned that the producer of the show "Castle" named Nathan Fillion's character after my cousin after meeting him once cause he thought it was the coolest name ever. Considering how much of a Nathan Fillion fan I am, I am geeking out over this. :)

Your name in her book is sooooo cool!

  4. Yes, your blog name on there is super cool. I'm glad you liked the second book as well. I enjoyed it too. Leigh Bardugo is an incredible author. I wish I could have met her when she was in W-S a few weeks back. One day...

    1. I hope I can meet her again now that I fully appreciate her. I met her on a FIERCE READS tour right after S&B was released. I didn’t buy it. I bought another book! *shakes head at myself* She was awesome, though.
